She made reservations which is a really good idea because the restaurant fills up quickly especially on a Sunday.
We were seated on the second floor with our own little booth.
The opposite wall of our booth. Would love one of these big bottles of sake.
Trying to figure out what meal set to order. We had plenty to choose from and most set was under ¥1,500. If you don't want the set meals, you can also order individual items - some bowls cost less than ¥700.
This is what I ordered. Had to get the sushi set with tempura. It also came with miso soup, a small box of rice with tuna sashimi on top, a little dessert, and custard with crab (which I happily shared). I shared my meal so I didn't eat this massive portion alone.
I still dream of this sushi platter. It was sooo sooo good. And I love having variety.A's meal. He got a smaller set so he can eat my food ;) Love a good chirashi bowl.
Keiko and me reunited in Nagoya!
And this is her set. She also got unagi.
The food here was delicious and the price was great too! Highly recommend this place if you are staying in Nagoya.
The aftermath...We had food coma after eating so we went for a walk.
Everything looks amazing, especially that sushi :) I wish I knew to try this place when I was in Nagoya, haha!
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late reply! My friend actually told me this location closed down. And they are re-opening a new location but more izakaya vibes.
DeleteThis looks like heaven, but how did you read the menu? The entire thing is in Japanese!
ReplyDeleteMy friend Keiko translated for us. I can't read or speak Japanese.
