What I Ate: Satou

December 7, 2016 Tokyo, Japan

Finally getting around to posting more from my trip to Japan this past February. I know it's long overdue!

I hope you are having a great December so far. I am quite busy at work at the moment so if I don't post too often you know what I'm up to ;)

Our friend recommend coming to Satou. We we're pretty jetlagged so we woke up very early to go to Kichijoji Station. It was a sleepy Sunday and all the stores were still closed. We walked around a little bit to explore the area. When we came back, the stores started opening. We lined up right away at the front of Satou store to get our fill of the deep fried beef balls. The line started forming and it got longer and longer. Lucky us for getting there early.

It was really delicious! Packed with beef, onions, and flavour. I loved the crunchiness of the outer crust.  We ate the two pieces that we got so quickly!

They have a restaurant upstairs but we wanted to just have snacks as we wanted to try more restaurants that day.

    1. Having jetlag is the best sometimes. It forces me to start doing activities early.
