Chicago!!!!!
It's my first time to the windy city next month and I am soo excited!!!
If you have any recommendations on where to eat, what to visit, what to do, where to shop...anything at all, please comment or e-mail me.
Deep dish pizza here I come!!
P.S. Should I take that tour boat??!?
Oooooh you will love it! Just get lost!!!! That's the best way to explore the city.
ReplyDeleteWill do, thanks Andi!
Deletethank you!
ReplyDeleteChristine, so cool!! I've never been to Chicago...otherwise I'd try to give recommendations. :) Have an awesome time! Can't wait to see your photos when you get back.
ReplyDeleteThanks Danie!
DeleteYes! So exciting. I say yes on the tour. I've heard good things- and if nothing else, you'll get some great views and photos!
ReplyDeleteI will definitely take the tour! Thanks!
DeleteOMGAWWWD I'm like comment bombarding your blog! I'm from Toronto, in Chicago for med school, with a Portuguese background. You've nailed all my big points in your first three posts. I'm practically in love with you right now. Things to check out:
ReplyDelete- John Hancock Tower: Signature Room [go to restaurant for brunch and see the city during the day, then at night to the loung to see Chitown gleam at night]
- wrigleyville: especially if you catch a cubs game then bar hop afterwards. So fun! I really like Deuces & Diamonds, fyi.
- Wicker park: picture Queen St on steroids. Nuff said, it's my fave spot in the city
- Navy pier
- THE BEAN
- Chicago art institute
- The beach! It's cute and small and not crowded during the mornings/afternoons on weekdays.
- Shedd Aquarium
- Catch a theatre production at Goodman Theatre; it's really affordable
- MICHIGAN MILE for shopping, and wander into side streets as well. The side street west off the block where you find Chanel = very Yorkville-esque (I wish I could give you area names, but I haven't been down there in a while!)
Thank you so much Chantelle for your recommendations! I really really appreciate it. I'm getting more and more excited to go to Chicago :)
