Instagram Food Porn

I love love food hence my constant food porn pictures. It's not helping that I'm addicted to Instagram! The pictures are an accumulation of pictures from restaurants, cafes, and home cooked meals. Can you tell that I have a sweet tooth?

I will be away this weekend for Labour Day. My last chance to enjoy summer before it ends. I can't wait to go wine tasting.

Montreal Botanical Garden - Chinese Garden Part 3

After visiting the courtyard, we found the man made lake above complete with waterfalls. I could not believe I was in Montreal. It felt like I was transported back to Asia for the afternoon. 

I easily forgot where I was and immersed myself in capturing the garden in photographs.

Montreal Botanical Garden - Chinese Garden Part 2

The more we explored the grounds of the Chinese Garden, the more fascinated I got. Each corner was carefully planned to perfection.  We went inside a courtyard full of different varieties of bonsai. It was interesting to see it. My mom used to have a bonsai tree when I was a child and I thought it was a toy as it was so small and delicate. My mom pruned the tree often and I would watch her do it. It's a very relaxing activity and now I'm debating buying one but it's quite expensive. And I think I have no green thumb to keep it alive.

Montreal Botanical Garden - Chinese Garden Part 1

On our last day in Montreal, we decided to visit the Montreal Botanical Garden. I have been to a couple of botanical gardens but nothing prepared me for the vastness, stunning architecture, and the variety of plants/flowers I was about to see.

We started our tour in the Chinese Garden. I thought we would see a couple of plants and that's it but look at what we found! I love the fact that they incorporated Chinese style buildings. It was heaven for me to photograph.
